ACCESS
Hakuba can be easily reached by a number of transport methods. Enjoy the scenery of the alpine hills and valleys on your valley, no matter which direction you approach from. The most common is a shuttle bus from the Tokyo airports, or for those travelling from Tokyo or Kyoto cities, a ride on the train to nearby Nagano city, followed by a one hour bus or pre-booked taxi ride.

FLIGHTS TO JAPAN
The most popular and convenient airport to fly into is Narita Airport in Tokyo, other airports include Kansai International (in Osaka) and Chubu International (in Nagoya).

BY AIRPORT BUS
The Nagano Snow Shuttle is a direct service running from the airport directly through to the ski resort offering transportation in both directions. There are two scheduled toilet/snack breaks on the trip. We can arrange the seats for you when you book your accommodation
BY ROAD
From Tokyo
There are two options from Tokyo to get to Hakuba by car
Take the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T and head towards Nagano on the Nagano Expressway. Exit at the Toyoshina Interchange and follow Rte 147 &148 through Omachi and onto Hakuba. 4hrs
Take the Kanetsu Expressway to the Fujioka J.C.T and head towards Nagano on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Exit at the Nagano Interchange and follow the Hakuba Nagano Olympic Road to Hakuba. 4hrs
From Nagoya
Take the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T and head towards Nagano on the Nagano Expressway. Exit at the Toyoshina Interchange and follow Rte 147 &148 through Omachi and onto Hakuba. 3.30hrs
From Osaka or Kyoto
Take the Meishin Expressway to the Komki J.C.T, head up the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T and head towards Nagano on the Nagano Expressway. Exit at the Toyoshina Interchange and follow Rte 147 & 148 through Omachi and onto Hakuba. 5.30hrs

BY RAIL
From Narita Airport
Passengers transferring from Narita Airport board the Narita Express to Tokyo or Shinjuku Station. Frequent departures from airport rail terminal. Traveling time to Tokyo - 1hr
From Tokyo
Departing from Tokyo Station to Nagano passengers board the Nagano Bullet Train (Asama Shinkansen). Travelling time 1.30hrs. The bullet trains run regularly throughout the day.
From Nagano Station
Upon arrival at Nagano Station, take the escalator up. Guests traveling by public bus to Hakuba should turn left on exiting the main Shinkansen ticket gate and use the Nagano Station East(Higashi) Exit. Turn left again at the East Exit and take the escalator or lifts down to the bus stop for Hakuba. For guests who have taxis arranged, the driver will be waiting with a name board at the Shinkansen exit gates to take directly to Hakuba and Sky Park Happo
From Shinjuku
Catch the Chuo limited express (Super Azusa) departs from Shinjuku Station and travels directly to Hakuba. Travelling time 3.50hrs
From Nagoya
Catch the Chuo limited express (Shinano) departs from Nagoya Station and travels to Hakuba via Matsumoto. Travelling time 3.30hrs
From Osaka or Kyoto
Departing Osaka or Kyoto catch the Sanyo Shinkansen to Nagoya and transfer to the Chuo limited express (Shinano) departs from Nagoya Station and travels directly to Hakuba. Travelling time 4.30hrs Train to Hakuba from Tokyo
